    Why do I have lower back pain that stretches down my side?

    I have been having lower back pain along with pain in my buttocks, groin, and leg on the right side. Any idea what could be causing this?

    Have you considered sciatica? The sciatic nerve - the biggest in the body - stretches from the spine all the way down to the toes. A bulging disc can cause that nerve to cause pain from the buttocks to the feet. How about a muscle pull; they can take several weeks to heal.
