Q: Can extreme heat and high humidity add to higher levels of pain/

I know that extreme cold can cause pain in certain individuals (such as myself) but I live in a tropical area with high humidity and extreme heat in the summer months and was wondering if that can also contribute to high pain levels. On our hotests days of the year this year, my pain levels were much higher and it wasn't from wearing myself out like it usually is. Thanks.

I don't know if you are familar with fibromyalsia, but any rapid change in the weather will cause me to have an "episode".  I barely function.  But then, according to some "Docs" there is no such thing.   Let them go for days on end and try to work.  Bet they can't.

Hi,

I have been able, for a long time, to predict weather.  i am convinced that I am affected by a change in the barometric pressure.  When a front is moving through I hurt so bad I can't get out of bed.
