could i still have an std if my boyfriend hasent?

my boyfriend got tested for stds. he had a swob test and blood test and they were all negative. he has been on strong antibiotics about 2-3month ago. we have had sexual intercouse after that but i slepted with someone else about 8months ago and never got checked out. could i still have and std even if my boyfriend hasent?

Yes you could. Just because you have a sexually transmitted disease and sleep with someone else, even repeatedly, doesn't that they will necessarily catch it. Not everybody gets a cold that goes around and not everyone that sleeps with someone catches their STD. The only way for you to be sure is to get checked out.
