My wife has lung cancer since last year but, she keep complaining pain around shoulder and T7, T8.

My wife has lung cancer since January this year. She keep complaining pain around shoulder, thorasic7 and 8 typically. Oncology doctor order bone scan, CT, MRI, etc.... doesn't find any spread area still in the lung.

My question is where is coming from this pain and how can control this pain. Hospital keep injection iv morphine and hydromorphine, fentanyl patch 150mg.

SOmebody mention about nerve block. Is it good idea? WHat about side effect?
