I have the same thing Deb the pain in the back and legs i allso have the muscle spasms it's enough to drive a person crazy.The doctors are telling me it's Aruthrites but after doing some research online i think i have Osteoprosis anyway i have the constant pain and burning in my back and legs along with the muscle spasms. Ive had several MRI's and they indicate Arthritus! My meds include Morphine Sulf ir 10 mg taken three times a day,Gabapentin 600 mg Three times a day and a muscle relaxer "Cyclobenzaprine 10 mg takken three times a day. I have'nt gotten rid of the pain compleatly but the pain has lessened and i have only been trying these med's for a week and i will be seeing my Doctor at the end of this month to discuss these meds and to decide any changes we need to make. I am hopeing to get rid of the pain entirely or atleast lesson the pain to a level that i can feel like a human being again. Good Luck
