Q: Cramping insides

My sister has fibromygilgia, but she has been experiencing cramping in her legs and also in insides, she said she feels like her chest area starts cramping up and hurts really bad. She takes cymbalta for the fibromygilgia and she also takes potasium. She has told her M.D. but he doesn't know what it is. She has recently been diagonosed with carpel tunnel in both hands and has severe nerve damage. Any ideas?

Has she tried muscle relaxants?  Cramping is not uncommon in fibromyalgia. One site I checked out recommended a nutritional supplement called MSN. She might also try relaxation exercises, deep breathing, etc. and see if that helps somewhat. Many patients take quite a while to find the right combination of treatments for them. I hope her M.D. is not stopping at Cymbalta.
