I'm so glad to hear you contacted your son's doctor.  I'll respond to your comments and questions concerning that through the private message you sent me.   I don't mind at all that you asked whether I have medical credentials.  In fact, you are wise to do so.  I don't have formal medical training.  I'm a patient educator and advocate.  My interest in chronic pain issues began many years ago when I began researching to find more information about my own pain illness – fibromyalgia.  In recent years I have expanded my interest and studies to include all areas of chronic pain when I discovered how many people are suffering daily.  My purpose here at ChronicPainConnection is to help guide people to learn more about their chronic pain conditions and to aid them in finding and communicating with the appropriate health care professionals.  You can read more about my background in my profile:  http://www.healthcentral.com/chronic-pain/c/5949/profile
