It sounds like peripheral neuropathy. Peripheral neuropathy is a condition in which the nerves in the torso or limbs malfunction causing numbness, pain, hot or cold feelings etc. It can be caused by a wide number of conditions including diabetes, hormone problems, infection, etc.   The cure for the neuropathy is to fix the underlying condition that's causing it.
