Is it safe to use norco before surgery?

Norcco and surgery. I know aspirin is a no no but what about norco 10/325? Surgery in a week and a half. This is a question for my husband who is having the surgery

Norco is a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Neither of those ingredients acts as a blood thinner, so from that perspective, it shouldn't be a problem. There may, however, be other reasons his doctor might not want him to take Norco before surgery. I would suggest calling the doctor's office and asking to be sure.
