No, Migraines aren't triggered by cataracts. I notice that you said "Migraine type headache." Have you been diagnosed with Migraines, or are these headaches.

There is a headache disorder calle Headacht attributed to refractive errors. This is headache caused by uncorrected or miscorrected refractive issues -- meaning uncorrected or incorrectly corrected visual issues such as myopia (near-sightedness), astigmatism, and so on.

Migraines can sometimes be triggered by exertion, including cough. There's also a specific form of headache called primary cough headache, which is headache brought on by coughing or straining.

It's time to see your doctor about these headaches or Migraines to be properly diagnosed and treated. Unexplained headache should always be investigated to be sure it's not caused by anything physical that needs treatment, such as aneurysm, stroke, tumor, etc. Statistically, it's unlikely to be any of those things, but you certainly don't want to take the chance of being on the wrong end of the statistics.
