When I had the same symptoms it was because I had bulging disks in the lumbar area. The disks were pressing on nerves which caused numbness and tingling in my foot and toes. That may not be your problem though. You need to see a doctor to find out. Don't wait too long. I did and now I have nerve damage. I ended up having five back surgeries. I'm not trying to scare you. Your problem might be something simple. So.... go to the doctor. I wish you the best of luck. Have a low pain day.    Scooter

    Hi Carolyn,

Did you ever find any relief for your pain and numbness?  It does seem as though you might have had a pinched nerve or disc trouble, but of course I am not a medical doctor and only a doctor can daignose it correctly.  If you did receive a diagnosis and treatment options, you might consider posting those here.
