I'm not sure of the safer of the two, however I have beeen on Durgesic(fetynal) patches for six years and they do provide considerabe relief of Smilechronic pain.  The majot drawback is the price and getting approval from insurance companies.

Arent there some serious lawsuits goin down because of people overdosing accid. on those fentanyl/norgesic patches.   My ister in law was in the hospital with mrsa and already debiltated.  Just came out of a coma, was on day one of food, regular and its my opinion that this patch senr her right back in to a coma.  poor thing never got to eat a bite.  had no appetite.  darn near killied her and put her neck at a 45 degree angle after atrophy? till spine surgery.  never been the same since.  i wont takem.  no siree bubba!  jmo  i know nothing of roxicodone.  mysticcherokee
