Finding a doctor seems to get tougher and tougher these days. However, the internet can be very helpful if you know where to look. Most doctors have board certifications and these boards have websites where you can find a specialist near you.   Try these websites to find doctors who treat painful conditions:   www.aapmr.org (American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) www.aapainmanage.org (American Academy of Pain Management) www.painmed.org (American Pain Medicine Association)   Another altenative is to find doctors with a special prescribing certificate for Suboxone www.suboxone.com   Suboxone treats pain and drug dependency.   Most importantly, do not go into an appointment asking for a certain drug.
