MS Contin is a very strong pain reliever; its possible you may have to take more of another kind in order to achieve the same results. If oxycontin is not a possibility have you thought of Vicodin? Vicodin contains hydrocodone - a different kind of narcotic drug and acetaminophen. It does not come in an extended release form, however, and needs to be taken every four to six hours.
