I've had Fibromyalgia for just 3 years, I never thought that my bloating was a sympton until I read other articles.  I was diagnosed with IBS by my doctor, the problem is that no matter how many times I change my diet nothing works.  I have tried eliminating the trigger foods and eating high fibre diets, drinking lots of water etc and still be in agony all night with bloating and wind. It always comes on late in the afternoon and I have it all night, then in the morning I'm fine again. I find that Activia yoghuts which are supposed to combat bloating actually make it worse and fruit and vegetables are just a time bomb.  White bread is better for me than wholemeal.  I find a high carb diet helps but I've gained about a stone and half in the last 3 years so have to be careful. It would be helpful if anybody else has the same experiences because I'm thinking I may have a food intolerance.
