Soma or caparisoprodol is a bitter tasting muscle relaxant drug that works by blocking pain signals delivered from the nerves to the brain. It should reduce your pain. Taken in larger than reccomended doses it can cause giddiness and a feeling of relaxation. Soma abusers sometimes combine it with Vicodin, alcohol, codein, heroin, etc. to enhance its effects.  If abused Soma can be addictive and cause withdrawl symptoms and severe side effects including difficulty breathing, shock and even death.
