Does living and sharing with someone who loves you help you cope with the pain better?

I've been alone for 5 years, and hate it tremendously. I have found, when I was around someone I really cared about and who cared for me, that the pain lessened. Am I the only one who has been told among other things, it's all in my head?

Over the years I have been told everything is fine, it might be "stress related", and perhaps a mental health expert could help.Perhaps you have had the same treatment, how did you handle it? What do you take for pain if you aren't tolerent to most pain meds? Gia

I find myself alone in my pain do you?
