Looking for anyone that has had a metatarsal amputation?

Getting ready to have a metatarsal amputation of mmy right foot due to extreme pain from Diabetic Neuropathy, I was wondering if any one here on the forum has had this procedure? Shortest definition of chronic (moderate to severe) pain

Trapped and Cornered

This exactly what it felt like before doctors decided it was ok to help me with my Chronic Pain.  It is no way to be forced to live.  I have been in Chronic Pain for a total of 18 years.   I get some help now and I thank heavens for it.  "Trapped and Cornered" shouldn't happen to anyone.  Doctors.  Please look close.
