Cortisone Shots For Back Pain

Researchers have developed a treatment called Orthokine therapy
that they say can ease back pain. In this new treatment, doctors
take blood from patients suffering from back injury and stimulate
the blood cells to produce proteins that stop inflammation. After
processing, these proteins are injected back into the patient, and
these proteins help ease the person's pain. In a recent trial,
Orthokine therapy was found to be more effective than cortisone at
reducing patients' back pain.
