How Long Does Spinal Fusion Surgery Take

Spinal-fusion surgery is often considered a last resort for people
who suffer from back or leg pain because the surgery often leads to
a loss of movement. But a new surgical implant known as a TFAS
device may allow doctors to stabilize patients' spines without
sacrificing function. Initial clinical studies on the TFAS device
have been promising, but doctors don't yet know how it will hold up
under long-term use.
