Pain Medicine For Chronic Back Pain

Opioid medicines like OxyContin and Vicodin treat chronic back pain
in the short term, experts say, but may not be good choices for
long-term use. Researchers analyzed data from other studies and
found that it was unclear if the powerful painkillers helped
relieve back pain with long-term use. They also found that abuse of
the drugs may be common.
