Pain relievers don't prevent Alzheimer's

New research from John's Hopkins says that pain relievers such as Aleve and Celebrex do not prevent Alzheimer's disease. Earlier studies seemed to show that non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs had a protective effect against Alzheimer's. But the new study found no difference in the incidence of Alzheimer's between patients who took pain medications and those who took a placebo. Read more »
