Acupuncture may cut post-surgical pain, symptoms

New research suggests that adding acupuncture before and during an operation may cut patients' post-operative pain and the side effects of post-op painkillers. In a new study, researchers found that acupuncture reduced patients' post-operative itchiness by 30 percent, their nausea by 50 percent, and their dizziness by 60 percent. All of these symptoms are caused by post-operative morphine. Read more »
