Procedure offers hope for failed back surgery

Two pain management specialists in Chicago say they have developed a procedure to treat people who continue to suffer chronic pain after undergoing back surgery. This persistent pain, called failed back surgery syndrome (FBSS), affects nearly half of all spine surgery patients.
