I suffer with daily headaches. My family doctor prescribed amitriptyline and atenolol which got rid of the headaches completely, but it made me impotent. We switched to amitriptyline and Toprol which did not work. I was referred to a neurologist and x-ray and CT scan were normal. I keep telling my doctor that the pain starts in the left side of my neck and then the headache comes on. If I move my head while I'm sleeping, I wake up.
