Researchers at the Imperial College School of Medicine have found that Lyrica (pregabalin) is effective in treating generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) in people ages 65 or older. Studies show that GAD is the most prevalent anxiety disorder in people over the age of 60, with about 7 percent of people in this age group suffering from the condition.
