Which Pain Prescription Is Best To Treat Chronic Pain?

Though athletes are often praised for 'playing through the pain,' a
short-term gain on the playing field may lead to long-term problems
with pain, researchers say. A study in Norway has found that
treating acute pain with prescription and over-the-counter meds
only masks pain and doesn't treat its cause. This can lead to a
worsening of an injury and long-term chronic pain.
