Your Employment Rights Under the ADA

If your local EEOC office tells refuses to help you or gives you misinformation (like telling you your illness is not on the list of acceptable disabilities when there is no such list), you can call the EEOC’s Office of Legal Counsel at 202-663-4691 and ask to speak to the Officer of the Day.

  • Job Accommodation Network – JAN is a free consulting service under the Department of Disability Employment within the Department of Labor that provides assistance and information on job accommodations and the ADA.
