Cymbalta maintains chronic pain relief: study

Drugmaker Eli Lilly is reporting that its drug Cymbalta was effective at the long-term reduction of chronic low back pain in a new study. For the study, researchers assessed the long-term pain relief of 58 patients with lower back pain who had received Cymbalta in a previous stage of the trial. The scientists found that the patients experienced at least 30 percent reduction in pain from their baseline pain levels while taking the drug. Read full story >
