Doctors Make Strides in Orthopedic Surgery for Children

Mayo Clinic researchers have found that combining anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction with repairing a torn knee meniscus is safe and effective in children. Orthopedic surgeons also found that the so-called "Tommy John" elbow reconstruction procedure was safe for kids, as well.   Read full story >
