Q: my daughter has been coughing w/ a runny nose of and on for the past 3 weeks.

My daughter has been coughing w/ nasal congestion/runny nose for the past three weeks. I took her to the ER one morning because she was wheezing. The wheezing has stopped but she has a horrid cough that is persistant. She is 16 months old and attends daycare. I was given an nebulizer to be used as needed for wheezing and oral steriods to be used for 5 days after discharge. As stated, the wheezing has stopped but the cough persists.  I plan on taking her back to the doctor tomorrow, Should I ask the doctor for a chest X-Ray?
