Q: Chronic cough

I have Gastroesophageal reflux disease, allergies, post nasal drip.  I've had a recent physical including negative chest x-ray.  Do I need additional follow-up?  I have minimal insurance.

The good news is, you know what chronic conditions that you're dealing with. And chronic cough is a hallmark symptoms of GERD.

You may want to ask you doctor about asthma too, because chronic cough is an asthma symptom and asthma has been linked to GERD.

Other than that, use your best judgment. If you have any concerns, then you should definitely see your doctor you to ask any follow-up questions. If you're not concerned, and the tests results you discussed with your doctor are normal, then you should be ok. Just keep paying attention to your health!
