so i have a problem with this wierd bad breath. really a curse. some ear-throat docs said i had sinusitis, then it went away(?!). then i went to get my stomach checked. they kept saying i had a hiatal hernia with Gerd and got antiacids as treatment. went to another doctor a month ago. he said : NO REFLUX , NO HERNIA , just an h.pylori and some fungus deposits on my esofagus.got antibiotics to treat it. haven't checked to see if i still have it , as the doctor said it HAS go away with that medication. have this wierd looking tongue ( from as far as i can remember ) with white deposits especially towards the tip and the back and it burns. have dry lips and nose , and the back of my throat is red. quite numerous cavities . hoarsed voice. i might suffer from lack of saliva (?!).as i read that xerostomia causes bacteria to overbreed in the mouth => bad breath . the funny thing is 2 days after i started the treatment for h.pylori the tongue looked better than ever , pink and without those crevasses. but then it just came back. no tonsils anymore as i had tonsiloliths and i removed them. what to do , where to go ?! don't know what to do. i'm starting to lose my mind. should i go get checked for HP again ? is there any other way besides endoscopy , like blood tests ? are blood tests accurate? is it possible to get mislead during an endoscopy and say there's no reflux or hiatal hernia present when there is or the other way around.i'm going to buy one of those measuring gizmos for humidity as my brother says there's dry air in the house and i read that can cause xerostomia and would explain the dry nose and red back of neck . need some other opinions , advice.
