Q: Can migraines be caused by a deviated septum?

Have had a migraine for last 4 months, never going away, only easing up on some days and worse on most.  Never going away completely.  Allergies had been bad the last 3 wks. but are better now, but migraine still there.  I read somewhere that a deviated septum could possibly cause migraines and wonder if true should I talk about it with my doctor.

Generally, deviated septums do not cause any symptoms at all and don't require treatment. But, sometimes, they can cause obstruct the passage of air through the nostrils. This obstruction may predispose the patient to sinusitis, infection and nose bleeds.

If you're concerned about this, you should definitely talk to your doctor.
