FDA to review cold remedies for kids

The U. S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is currently reviewing the safety and effectiveness of children's cold and cough medicines. The review comes after several reports of overdosing and deaths in children age 2 and under. Many pediatric and parental organizations are urging the FDA to stop the marketing of cold medicines for children under age 6. Read more »
