Officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are urging Americans--particularly minorities--to get a flu shot, saying the vaccinations are important for preventing the spread of the flu. CDC statistics have shown that there are racial and ethnic disparities in flu vaccination rates.
