Survey: Almost half of adults don't get flu shot

A recent survey of more than 2,000 people has found that 48 percent of U.S. adults don't plan to get a flu shot this season, and they often make this choice for dubious reasons. The survey, conducted by Consumer Reports Health, found that the reasons for refusing a flu shot included people's belief that they "don't get sick" or that they did not believe the vaccine was effective.
