If I Have A Cough Is It Dangerous To Have Surgery

Reflux surgery may provide long-term relief

Acid reflux surgery has been shown to reduce heartburn symptoms in the short-term, but a new study suggests it also offers long-term symptom relief. Researchers contacted 288 patients who had undergone heartburn surgery between 1993 and 1999. Of those 288 patients, 90 percent of them experienced improvement in their reflux symptoms, and 67 percent had no symptoms at all.
