Having a hot drink may help reduce the symptoms of common colds and flu, a new study suggests. According to a press release from Cardiff University's Common Cold Centre, researchers first recruited 30 volunteers with common cold symptoms. They then compared the effects of consuming a hot serving of a commercially produced apple and blackcurrant drink to consuming the drink at room temperature.
