Is Getting The Flu Shot Dangerous

Experts recommend that asthma patients get a yearly flu shot in
order to decrease their risk of the dangerous respiratory problems
that can come with the flu, but a new analysis finds that most
asthmatics dismiss this warning. In a study of 1,248 subjects who
had asthma, researchers found that nearly two thirds of them did
not get a shot. Those most likely to skip the vaccination were
children and adults with a low family income, and those who did not
see their doctor often.
