FDA approves seasonal flu vaccine

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a vaccine for the ordinary seasonal flu, and the agency says Americans should plan to be vaccinated. FDA officials stress that this vaccine will not protect people from the H1N1 swine flu virus, and a separate vaccine for that virus is currently in the works.
