Survey: Most parents won't have kids get H1N1 flu vaccine

A poll of 1,678 U.S. parents has found that only 40 percent said they would get their children immunized against the H1N1 swine flu virus, compared to more than 50 percent indicated they would get their kids vaccinated against the regular seasonal flu. About half of the parents who said they'd pass on the H1N1 flu shot for their kids expressed concern about possible side effects of the vaccine. And 46 percent of the parents who said they would not get their children immunized against swine flu said they weren't worried about their children contracting the virus, while 20 percent said they do not believe the H1N1 flu is a serious disease.
