Thinking about it is at least thinking about it and a step towards quitting and success.  Anything you think about everyday helps inforce the idea so I'm not going to be discouraged about the times I've failed at quitting.  I learned new things each time (this will be the 3rd time I've tried to quit).  I've learned what to avoid and what people to steer clear of lol.  I know that traffic gets worse, cashiers are ruder and lines are longer etc.  I know that I notice too much and nerve endings and taste buds return full force to say the least...

I know I need to keep ibuprofen on hand and stay inside due to my sense of smell being keener.  ( I live near a refinery).  I get plenty of smoke and pollution right there.  My art turns angry but who knows--there just may be a market out there! lol

I hope everyone is doing well and hope to hear from someone who may be similar with their attempts to be smoke free.

I really don't know any kind non smokers amongst co-workers, family or friends.  I'm kind of on my own with this offline anyways.  That is why I'm here plus it helps typing it out.

At work the only non smokers I come in contact with are very ...not so....um ---Lets just say they have no sense of urgency.  Like on one long continuous break and there is no telling where they are laying up.  Whereas if you need to find a smoker you know at least where to find them if you need them.  Also,  they break a sweat getting the job done as they are trying to make time for a smoke.  My goal is to quit smoking and still "light the fire" and work etc.  I don't want to  become one of those examples I've just mentioned.  I guess it's about balance.

Anyone else have things that sort of hold them back such as these?  Meaning,  bad messages from nonsmokers?

Maybe I can quit and be a good example for someone else ...
