3 years ago I was in hospital with severe copd and sepsis(Drs. just said I had a blood infection)Then after 5 days I had a heart attack and lived.Lungs are so compromized that they could not do breathing tube but did Bypap machine.Did not do angiogram as lungs and heart so compromized that I am not a candidate for surgery.I came home with oxygen  and have been advocating for myself more.Have a nebulizer,Oxygen stat reader as when I had to call ambulance before i would wait too long thinking It would get better. Now if I have to call I can turn up oxygen, and use nebulizer while waiting.I now have 3 years of grace.I attribute my being here because of life long physical activity.Cannot do as much now but do as much as I can.Eg small pedal machine to excercise legs and arms, weights and bands.

Your columns are very informative.Thank You
