Thank you, Jane.
I read part three in this series and I will get it a go. I have got tho learn to plan for the future without worrying myself sick about the "what ifs". I know that worry accomplishes nothing, but I have been this way most of my life, and stress has been a part of my environment for over 10 years. It seems when I got sick, I became overwhelmed so easily that it has made for a very stressful situation. I will try some of the tips and let you know what happens.
Thanks again.
Dear Anonymous,
I'm glad you're going to give it a try. As I said, the tips have really helped me and I hope they help you, too. It's difficult when you've been this way for a long time. Worrying can be a habit. We learn to do it and then we keep on doing it over and over, and then we're entrenched. Not good!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I know there are many others out there who feel the same way you do and this is helping them, too.
I wish you all the best in keeping your worry in check and your stress level and feelings of being overwhelmed down to being manageable. Do let us know how it goes.
Take care!
Jane.

This is a very good article, Jane. It article really hit home for me. I have been looking for answers to how I have been feeling.
Have I missed the last post in this series, or has it not been posted yet?
I am looking forward to learning how I get manage my ongoing
stress as it has become overwhelming at times.
Thanks Dee,
I'm glad you found it helpful. Worry can be a biggie. You're right. It can be overwhelming, for some people - even debilitating. We don't call it the Worry Monster for nothing. It can be enormous. And brutal.
It hit home for me too, Dee. When I first came upon Dr. Sharma's piece on worry, I couldn't believe that what I was reading - that there was really something I could do about it. I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I read it. It was that huge for me. Somebody actually "got" this! What a relief!
Yes, the third part in the series has been posted, and here it is. http://www.healthcentral.com/copd/c/19257/132990/worry-stop-manage
