i really liked the post turkey cigarette. it was part of the reason i ate the turkey at all. i was going for the tryptophan/nicotine serenity blanket. that's of course an exaggeration, but i did get lulled into the freedoms. eat as much as you want/can. and dessert. lay around and watch game, huddle outdoors with the other smokers, me sipping laced hot chochlate. anyone think that the cigarette is the key bringer of joy here? it's not. family is really important and it's amazing to me how much more they seek me out for comversation, no longer afraid of the truly offensive frug emanating from my freshly polluted lungs. cigarettes didn't have a big role in my holiday doings; they were just habits that didn't change with the festive situatin. repeating, cigarettes aren't really part of any holiday gathering unless it's national tobbaco grower's day. we'll all have as much fun without smoking. food will taste better. if you feel you need a break from the eating take a cigarette length walk; you will be healthier. now more than ever is to start seeing your life smoke free. pretty soon is new years and resolutions are being composed. and compromised. it may be trite, or overblown but quitting smoking is made for these holidays. you realize that they don't much enhance the great traditions. you can't say you're thankful for it. are you going to ask santa for a carton? so consider that smoking didn't make your holidays special. but not smoking would make new years memorable. and help the chances of having many many many blessed holidays ahead. of course my wish is happiness for all
