I decided to leave my status as "trying" to quit .. since it has only been a short time since I did ... and now that I have found a way that is working for me, I am happy ...

I wanted to thank all who posted a comment, as it helped to read from others ... so thanks .....

Just taking one day ata time is so much better , getting the meds thing fixed also helped , and with that I must say everything else fell into place with a little bit of effort .. and my therapist ... giggle ...

Keeping a journal was the best way for me , as I learned this technique over 20 yrs. ago ... once you write down how you are doing , it is real and truthful .. and that is what works for me .. better than any drugs ( sorta ) .. but being honest with myself, and therefore others , is my saving grace ...

I know some folks believe my "honesty" is more like complaining, or nagging or negative ... but if it relieves the "pain" inside , if it relieves the "confusion" in my head .. well, I am happy .. and I am sorry if others get offended by anything I may post or have posted ...

So, I am heading for AZ in the morning ... and am looking forward to a smoke-free vacation , good times with a good friend ... let's see how it goes ... thanks y'all .... adrian
