Why does my arm hurt when I put the patch on my arm? Every now and then my whole arm aches. Then it goes away. It will go through this cycle the entire time it's on my arm. Is that normal?

Hi Lois! I know you posted this awhile back but I was wondering if you ever figured out why this happened? I have been on the patch for 5 days and I'm experiencing the same thing.

I also had aches in whichever part of the body I used the patch. I thought it may have been the affect of the nicotine in the patch. I had to stop using them.
I am now on HRT patches and am having the same affect so I think my body may be reacting to the glue used on the patches. I have now had to stop the HRT patches as well. Good luck with the stopping smoking.
