Q: What does it mean when your feet swell up?

Feet and ankle swelling (or edema) can be due to reduced blood flow which can be a result of a heart condition. Other causes can be medication, too much salt, not enough exercise, etc. For more information, see http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/edema.html

 

A visit to the doctor is in order if you suspect circulatory system issues.
