3 weeks and the cravings are getting worse...

Does this happen to others?  I just have a constant gnawing craving feeling in the pit of my stomach which is driving me nuts!  Surely after 3 weeks things should be starting to ease off a bit?

This is about my 5th time trying to stop and I'm not using any patches or replacement treatments.

Thanks, Ali

yes I have the same thing too, I'm about 3 weeks in too and have just had a couple of really bad days. You have to remember that the temptation won't just vanish into thin air and to stay on your guard. The feeling of tension is horrible, I'm feeling the need for sport and excersize, maybe even meditation

for my friend whos is 3 years off, chantix took all that away and also the edgy nerveousness.  My husband is using chantix and is doing pretty well into his first week.  Takes the cravings away also.

why not try the chantix since it  has such success reports.  My doctor is crazy about it as only 2 of his patients have failed and they had an allergy to it.  Its covered by most insurances. My husband is on it right now.  His first week has been good.

Hi Ali, did it get any better for you?  I just found this site and I too am at the 3 week period and going mad with cravings.  It is so bad I just want to cry!  I use the patches, please tell me that it eases off.

Thanks

Nell
